Laura started her career in executive search in 1996, with a focus on Insurance and Professional Services. Three years later, she joined Heidrick & Struggles to help the firm develop a deeper Corporate Functional expertise -- with an emphasis in Chief Communications Officer and General Counsel roles. Laura was part of a team recruited to Merrill Lynch to help build an internal executive search capability, where she placed senior leaders across all corporate functional areas, with a focus on senior roles in the areas of Compliance, Legal and Risk. Laura has a B.S. in Marketing and International Business from Indiana University.
